Framic Window Views guide

How to Loop a YouTube Video on Your TV

To use a window view as an all-day screensaver, you'll want it to loop so it never stops. Framic's videos are already long, but here's how to make any YouTube view repeat continuously on a TV.

Option 1: Use a long or 8-hour video

The simplest fix is to pick a multi-hour view. An 8-hour video covers a full night or workday with no looping needed, which is why many Framic views are made that long in the first place.

Option 2: Loop from the YouTube app

On many TV and phone YouTube apps you can add the video to a playlist or use the repeat option, then set the playlist to loop. Casting from your phone lets you control repeat from the app while the TV plays full-screen.

Option 3: Loop an offline file

For guaranteed seamless looping with no ads or menus, play a downloaded 4K pack from a USB stick or media player and turn on its repeat/loop setting. This is the most reliable option for a permanent fake window.

Avoid autoplay surprises

If you stream, turn off 'autoplay next video' so YouTube doesn't jump to an unrelated clip when the view ends. A playlist set to loop, or an offline file, avoids this entirely.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my video stop or jump to another?

YouTube autoplay moves to a suggested video by default. Turn autoplay off and use repeat or a looping playlist, or play an offline file instead.

What's the most reliable way to loop all day?

An offline 4K file on a media player with loop enabled, no ads, no autoplay, no buffering.
